Nepal’s Historic Moment today – World Cup T20 2014

Here comes the historic moment for Nepal cricket team to play very first time in an ICC World Cup T20 2014.

Nepal is 17th nation to participate in the ICC World Twenty20 .Today 16th March 2014, Nepal is playing a match against Hong Kong at the Zahur Ahmed Chawdhury Stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Whole Nepalese waiting to see the today’s match of Nepal’s cricket team against Bangkok with whom Nepal cricket lad’s had defeated to secure their position in World Cup in November last year.

Today’s match will project how far Nepal Cricket team can continuity the World cup T20 2014 .Nepal will have to face other teams in the group as well with Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Only one team of the two preliminary groups of four team’s progress to the second round, where the top eight Test-playing teams await them.
Earlier Nepal lost both their official warp-up matches against Ireland and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Captain of Nepal’s Cricket Team Paras Khadka says to the Kantipur news- “This is the result of the hard work we have put in for the last 18 months. Now is the time to show to the world what we are made of. We are excited about it and at the same time make sure that we do not waste this golden opportunity.”
