Former Crown Prince Paras Shah arrested with Marijuana in Bangkok

Former Crown Prince Paras Shah been arrested by Thai Police in Thailand.

Paras who is known for his outrageous life style was arrested with 12.6 grams of marijuana from Davis Hotel, Sukhumvit on July 10. He was presented before a court today.

The Nepali Embassy at Bangkok was informed about his arrest yesterday evening. Thai police authorities informed Embassy that Shah was in their judicial custody but did not reveal about where the ex-Nepal crown price has been detained.

This is not the first time he is been arrested by Thai Police. In October 2012, Shah, 42 was arrested in Phuket on charged with cannabis possession on the Thai resort Island. Afterward in December, he was detained again for vandalising luxury property at an apartment in Bangkok. He was released only after paying 120, 000 baht ($3,730) to the building owner.
Shah who is always in controversy was revived from a coma after suffering a massive cardiac arrest in February 2013, due to overdose of drug.

He was admitted at the Samitive Hospital and was discharged after 38 days later he was admitted to Chiang Mai-based Chance Rehabilitation Centre.

Presently, Paras Shah has been residing in Chiang Mai, in the northern Thailand.
