The Bird Caller sets the World Record

Gautam Prasad Sapkota a resident of Makwanpur District, Gadhi VDC Hetauda also called as a ‘Chari Dada’ (Bird Man) set a world record on February 11,because of his talent to mimic the calls of over 151 different spices of birds.
He spends his time by following birds in national parks, forests, Gardens and the Central zoo of Kathmandu to imitate their sounds as they communicate with each other.
An India based agency, The Unique World Records interested in strange and often amazing claims, now officially lists Sapkota as one of its legitimate record- holders. Gautam Sapkota had approached the agency three months back and after analysing his video which he had sent, Judges came to conclusion that his birds calling ability is a unique talent so deserve of a world record.

When asked what inspired him about mimicking the birds so naturally, the bird caller says, “When I was a little kid, I wondered how people imitated animals, when i grew up, I realized that i could mimic a lot of different sounds, so i started my journey and beautiful birds became my friends”.
The bird Man us looking forward to having his name included in the Guinness Book of World Record.
